Elena Vaynshtok, DPT

Dr. Vaynshtok, DPT, graduated from Long Island University with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2001 and has been actively practicing ever since. Dr. Vaynshtok earned a Doctorate in Physical therapy in 2005 and in 2007 opened her top-rated outpatient Physical Therapy clinic.
An active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2001, Dr. Vaynshtok is on the cutting edge of her field, offering the highest standard of care for her patients using techniques including McKenzie protocols, Myofascial release, soft tissue massage. PNF techniques, neuromuscular reeducation, and various therapeutic exercises. Dr. Vaynshtok is also certified in Kinesio tape for musculoskeletal/orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Vaynshtok specializes in the rehabilitation of adults and pediatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, and sports-related injuries, illnesses and surgeries.

Dr. Vaynshtok received Certification in the Schroth method through Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS) in 2019. Schroth method is a conservative 3 D treatment method for adults and children with scoliosis.
Dr. Vaynshtok is also currently in a Pilates Comprehensive program for rehabilitation practitioners through Polestar.
As a former competitive rhythmic gymnast, Dr. Vaynshtok is keenly aware of the physical demands of athletes and sports enthusiasts. She creates a customized physical therapy program that utilizes all her skills and knowledge for every patient to target their individual needs and goals.
