Andrea Soares is a Master of Science in Acupuncture candidate at Pacific College of Health and Science, where she is developing a strong foundation in acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, patient care, and clinical practice. Her background combines hands-on clinic experience, hospice volunteer work, and years of professional leadership in communication, education, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Andrea currently supports patient care in a high-volume acupuncture and massage clinic, assisting with patient intake, EMR documentation, treatment room preparation, and HIPAA-compliant clinic operations. She also serves as a Certified End-of-Life Specialist with Hospice of New York, providing compassionate companionship and support to patients in home care, assisted living, and hospital settings.
Her continuing education includes in-depth study in clinical integration, acupuncture point names, and Shen-Hammer pulse diagnosis. Fluent in English and Portuguese, with advanced Spanish and conversational French and Italian, Andrea brings a thoughtful, culturally sensitive approach to patient communication and care.
